I have worn the highland jacket throughout the game shooting season on formal shoot days. I have had many compliments off other guns/beaters about how smart the jacket looks which is a positive straight away. I’d have to agree with them and say that it is an exceptionally smart jacket and looks the part.

It’s warm and comfortable which is key when stood around on a peg shooting pheasants all day. The hand warmer pockets are ideal to keep your hands warm when waiting for the drive to start. It’s not too big and bulky like some jackets, which means you can shoot in it and still mount the gun easily.

The key feature for me on this jacket is the game pouch at the back. It means after the drive you can put birds in the pouch and keep your hands free, this is also very useful for pickers up who may use this jacket so they can put the birds in the pocket and have their hands free to work the dog.
