HUNTING CHAMOIS IN SLOVENIA

This stunning antelope species provides some of the most challenging hunting in Europe in the most magnificent environments. Patience and determination are essential if we're to be successful. An old fence post makes a welcome rest as I line up the chamois some 300 yards up the mountain. For such a small animal, a solid shooting rest is highly advisable. Pure concentration and controlled breathing are needed to ensure the perfect shot. Looking back where we’ve come from, you really begin to feel a sense of achievement. The beautiful chamois was well worth the effort and the surroundings were simply magnificent. Deerhunter membranes had me covered for everything mother nature threw at us!
